In technical and vocational education environments, organization and safety are considered fundamental prerequisites for effective learning and the simulation of industrial settings. In this study, a modified 6S framework was developed by incorporating the "Safety" component into the classical 5S model. The intervention was implemented through an action research approach in an automotive mechanics workshop over a three-month period, involving theoretical instruction, gradual implementation, and structured monitoring. Data were collected using the 6S checklist, Fine-Kinney risk analysis form, satisfaction questionnaire, and structured observations. The findings indicated that the 6S model led to a 38% reduction in educational waste, a 27% improvement in operational productivity, and a 45% increase in learner satisfaction. Safety analysis using the Fine-Kinney model revealed a significant reduction in risks across three key dimensions: severity, probability, and exposure. These results suggest that integrating lean management principles with systematic risk assessment approaches offers an effective strategy for optimizing technical training environments. The proposed framework creates a safer, more organized, and learning-centered workspace, with potential applicability across various skill-based disciplines.
