In order to investigate the effect of the characteristics of grape branches and elder branches on the quality of particleboard, in this study, boards with grape branches at a ratio of 0, 15, 30 and 50% with elder branches were produced. In this study, urea formaldehyde resin was used in the manufacture of boards under alkaline, acidic and alkaline environmental conditions with an initial molecular ratio of formaldehyde to urea of 1.9 to 1 and a final molecular ratio of 1.3 to 1 and a resin consumption coefficient per board of 11, 9 and 13% and a pressing time of 5 and 7 minutes. The amount of wood chips consumed, resin consumption and pressing time were considered as variable factors in this study and other factors were considered as fixed conditions. The results of this study showed that increasing the grape branch to elder branch ratio by up to 15% increased the bending strength, elastic modulus and internal adhesion compared to boards made from elder branches. In this research, the optimal conditions for producing boards are the use of 15% grape branches, 11% urea formaldehyde glue, and a pressing time of 7 minutes.
