In entrepreneurial schools, students are guided toward innovative and practical ideas, and their skills, attitudes, and creative thinking are cultivated to enable them to transform ideas into action. These schools, through the active participation of teachers, administrators, students, and industry partners, create a dynamic and value-driven learning environment that goes beyond traditional educational models. The purpose of this study is to present a model of the Entrepreneurial School based on a work-based learning approach—one that leverages the existing capacities of schools, particularly technical and vocational schools, to strengthen practical entrepreneurship education and address the employability challenges of graduates.
Methodologically, the study is applied in purpose and combines both library and field research methods. Field data were collected through semi-structured interviews with a community of entrepreneurship experts (university faculty members), industry professionals, and education specialists (including administrators, teachers, and vocational instructors). The interview questions were developed according to the main and sub-objectives of the study.
The findings revealed that the entrepreneurial school model with a work-based learning approach consists of two main dimensions, three sub-dimensions, and forty-one indicators. The results emphasize the necessity of coordination among all stakeholders to implement practical entrepreneurship education and to revise school curricula in alignment with the requirements of the modern business environment.
