Abstract
Limitations on fossil fuel resources and air pollution are among the main human problems in today's society. Passive solar systems are one of the most effective ways to prevent air pollution and reduce fossil fuel consumption. The current research has investigated the thermal comfort of a trombe wall facing south in 5 places of Yazd province including Abarkoh, Bafaq, Meibod, Mehriz and Yazd cities in the winter months. The evaluation of the average energy received on the surface of the earth, sunny hours and average temperature of each point was done by 3-hour synoptic data between 2013 and 2018. Using the meteorological data and calculations made by the EES information software, entered into Fluent software and the energy received by Fluent in different radiations has been obtained. Based on the calculations, Meybod, Mehriz, Bafaq, Abarkoh and Yazd respectively have the best thermal comfort efficiency and in these cities, after simulation, the ideal temperature for humans has been achieved.
