Abstract

The paintings under study, one of which was painted in 1315 AH by Hadi Tajvidi, the founder of the Tehran miniature school, and is kept in the National Museum of Iranian Arts, and the other with the same title was painted by Mohammad Tajvidi in the late Pahlavi period and early Pahlavi period in 1321 AH. Objectives: It includes identifying the degree of adherence and subordination of the painting of Mohammad Tajvidi (son) to the painting of Hadi Tajvidi (father), and also through comparison and identification, the similarities and differences of the paintings were made with each other. The research questions are: 1. To what extent did the painting “Firdausi in the Court of Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi” by Mohammad Tajvidi in the Khoy Museum adhere to the work of Hadi Tajvidi in the National Museum of Iranian Arts? 2. What are the similarities and differences between the painting “Firdausi in the Court of Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi” by Mohammad Tajvidi and the painting of Hadi Tajvidi? Research Method: In the present study, library information and visual data were used in a descriptive and comparative analysis manner, and the samples under study, including the painting "Firdausi in the Court of Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi" by Mohammad Tajvidi in the Khoy Museum and the painting by Hadi Tajvidi in the National Museum of Iranian Arts, were compared with each other. The results show that Mohammad Tajvidi's painting has the greatest adherence and adherence to Hadi Tajvidi's painting.
