Abstract
This research (reading) is related to the investigation of the hidden layers of the Qandili mihrabi carpet from the Safavid era and it is mostly conversational, not mentioned in any past research. The research problem is the meanings of this connection in the carpet map and an answer to the hypothesis of the existence of a hidden human body with layers of lights known as Aura or (or removed) (holy aura). The purpose of the research was to find the hidden goals of the designer of this map so that the hidden layers of composition and meaningful motifs could be discovered. The research method was descriptive and analytical in the form of Panovsky iconology[1]. The results of these findings indicate the vision of the human body in a hidden form and a halo of light, along with the matching of the internal parts of the carpet with the internal parts of the person in the map of this carpet, which is undoubtedly due to the reaction and attacks of the general public of that period and lack of awareness of supernatural sciences. Repetition was avoided and the proof is the conscious performance of the designer by interpreting the Qur'an and metaphysical sciences, as well as the arrangement of elements and design (design) based on the inner meaning of each element. This research is the result of library studies on the existing articles and books, as well as the adaptation of visual documents from carpets and textual interpretations of the blessed verses of the Qur'an and supplications.
