Intelligence is one of the most important hypothetical structures that has been used since the advent of Alfred Binhayan in the early twentieth century to explain career success and efficiency One of the most important issues in the area of work in recent years is emotional intelligence that plays a vital role in the success of individuals Emotional intelligence encompasses a wide range of skills and individual characteristics Researches show that 20% of the success of professional life depends on intelligence and 80% on emotional intelligence As Glenn explained in his 1998 book The Function of Emotional Intelligence in workplace Emotional Intelligence plays a more prominent role in having a better performance than other capabilities such as cognitive intelligence or technical skills Therefore with the development and growth of emotional intelligence and its capabilities both the organization and the employees will benefit from it Knowledge of emotional intelligence skills in the workplace can be a prerequisite for the growth and development of these skills in an organizational environment This paper investigates the skills of emotional intelligence in the workplace It has been done in a method library using a variety of papers and articles to collect theoretical foundations Initially the concept of emotional intelligence and its importance are expressed Then an emotional intelligence model was introduced and finally emotional intelligence skills were expressed
