The process of moving in Airport terminals, the formation of cognitive maps, and the method of navigation can be considered the result of spatial-physical and personal factors of each individual.What is the relationship between individuals' self-concept and the mental image they create of airport terminals? Is there a significant relationship between personality traits and the mental image they create for navigating in passenger terminals? What is the relationship between an individual's creative problem-solving skills and the mental image they create for navigating in passenger terminals?The aim of this research, which has been extended to the two domains of architecture and psychology, is to investigate the problem of optimal routing in airport terminals. Therefore, first in the field of architecture, the components affecting mental images and cognitive maps in airport terminals were analyzed and extracted, and then in the psychology section, the relationship between three factors of personality traits, self-concept, and creative problem solving with the mental images of the individuals in question was examined.The present study is an applied research in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of nature and method.Documentary and library methods were used to develop the theoretical foundations of the research.The data collection method is a survey and a questionnaire was used to collect field data and research individuals in the statistical population. Statistical findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-concept, personality traits, and creative problem-solving skills with the mental image created in the direction of people's navigation in passenger terminals.
