Abstract
Today, using insurance technologies and designing knowledge-based products and tools to increase value and improve businesses can be considered a competitive advantage for insurance companies. Considering the importance and role of these technologies in the growth and development of insurance, the purpose of this article was to identify and prioritize factors affecting the design of knowledge-based products and tools in the insurance industry. The method of this research was mixed analysis. In the qualitative phase, the components and indicators were identified using content analysis and open and axial coding, and the relationships between concepts, dimensions, and components were determined by selective coding. In the quantitative stage, the identified components were ranked using the fuzzy hierarchical analysis method. In this research, the dimensions and components identified in the qualitative analysis including development factors, inhibiting factors, environmental inhibitors and environmental stimuli and their priority were also determined. According to the presented results, inhibitory factors had the highest weight and environmental stimuli had the lowest weight. Among the inhibiting factors, the index of financial restrictions for new and creative programs had the highest weight and the index of mismanagement for strategies had the lowest weight.
