Identifying and explaining the resilience drivers of start-up businesses

Abstract

Resilience as a concept that implies sustainability as a basic element in entrepreneurship can play an influential role in the entrepreneurial process from the idea stage to the end of a business. The present research aims to identify the drivers of resilience of start-up businesses; In terms of practical purpose and from the point of view of gathering information, it is a qualitative research that was done with the content analysis method. The data collection method was a semi-structured interview. Interviews with the participants have continued until reaching the theoretical saturation point, which was achieved by conducting 15 interviews. The participants were selected with a snowball and targeted method, and data analysis was done through three stages of coding (open, central, selective) with MAXQDA2020 software. The quantitative part of the research was also done with the questionnaire tool and with the method of structural equations and Smart PLS software. The results showed that the driving factors in the resilience of new businesses are: the ability to use technology, transparency, updating, core skills, construction minister technology, dynamism, teamwork, research and development, agility, alignment of key elements, institutional support, intellectual property, Culture, opportunity, stakeholders' participation, identification of leverage points, transparency of negotiation and communication, access and efficiency of information, motivation, legal knowledge, initiatives, core knowledge, ecosystem and environmental factors, flexibility, innovation and participation and team activities which are among the most influential facilitating factors. It is about the resilience of start-up businesses and can provide stability and protection for start-up businesses.
