Designing a model of talent management with a Grounded approach in the social security organization

Abstract

Today's world is moving from the traditional approach to knowledge-based, and as a result, traditional human resource management also needs a new system of human resource management called talent management. This research aims to design a talent management model with the Grounded theory approach in the social security organization. The current research has interpretive philosophical foundations and is qualitative research with a systematic Grounded theory approach in terms of its purpose, it is a developmental and applied research. Its data has been collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 15 experts and managers of the social security organization in the country with a non-probability approach and theoretically and purposefully in 2019. Data analysis was done in three stages open, central, and selective coding with the help of MaxQDA2020 software and then the qualitative research model was designed. The findings show that the main category includes employment and benefiting from expert personnel and the causal conditions include strengthening the performance of personnel, technological changes, economic changes and the identified competitive environment, and the background conditions of management support and organizational culture. Intervening conditions include maximum use of personnel capacity, human resource management knowledge, employee training system, technological and technological factors, and administrative guidelines and procedures. The strategies include revising the strategies of human resources development, recruitment and recruitment, talent development, and talent retention, and the consequences include improving individual and organizational productivity, reducing personnel costs, and creating added organizational value.
