To conduct the field interview, research participants included curriculum faculty members and mathematics faculty members, top math instructors, mathematics curriculum planners, and curriculum education researchers familiar with mathematics and curriculum education (18). To analyze the data, continuous comparison method was performed during three stages of open, axial and selective coding using Max-Cody software of Pro version. The results of the content analysis showed that 7 organizing themes (curriculum leadership by the teacher, media integration, activities, departments, teacher empowerment, curriculum development and management) and 39 basic themes as strategies for improving the curriculum there is a formal sixth grade math course. Using the results of the present study will improve the formal curriculum of sixth grade elementary mathematics.
