Abstract

Knowledge-based organizations are a new form of organizations that have been created to be a solution to achieve success in the midst of extensive changes in today's world. Product innovation is the prominent feature of this type of organizations that distinguishes them from other organizations and has a unique effect on their performance. From this, it is necessary to know enough about the concept of product innovation and the factors affecting it, especially in knowledge-based organizations. In this article, it has been tried to identify the factors affecting the creation and strengthening of product innovation capabilities, and the communication model between these factors has been evaluated and proposed so that the factors affecting product innovation can be identified based on it.For this purpose, based on previous researches and based on data meta-analysis model, key components affecting product innovation were identified and then categorized into six factors. In the next step, the status of the research variables was measured through the distribution of the designed questionnaire. In this process, 250 questionnaires were distributed among employees, senior and middle managers of knowledge-based companies and collected after completion. Finally, data analysis has been done with the help of two separate models based on structural equation modeling, confirmatory factor analysis and regression correlation test to prove the proposed research model.Of course, due to the smallness of the statistical population due to the emerging concept of knowledge-based organizations and the geographical limitation of the research, the results of this research need further investigations for final confirmation.
