Abstract

The aim of this study was to validate the tools for measuring the factors affecting the professional development of faculty members. In this research, which is a descriptive survey, the opinions of 30 professionals in the field of professional development have been examined in three stages. The tool used to conduct the research was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity and reliability were reviewed and confirmed. The data analysis method is a three-step Delphi technique. The findings of the implementation of the three stages of Delphi technique show that the tool for measuring the factors affecting the professional development of faculty members consists of five factors: 1) organizational factor, 2) process factor, 3) managerial-supportive factor, 4) factor Individual and 5) social factor (in the form of 60 items) has been validated and approved. It seems that by using the tools to assess the factors affecting the professional development of faculty members, including 5 factors that have been validated in this study, it is possible to evaluate the impact of each factor and identify and promote the factors that have the greatest impact on professional development.
